Obedience
We offer both Board & Train and Private Lessons.
Programs are customized to meet your specific needs.

BOARD & TRAIN
Your dog is trained and stays at Green Dog during the entire training duration. With this type of type of program, Green Dog is training your dog for you. When you come to pick up your dog at the end of the training session, we then train you. You are shown step-by-step, exactly how to reinforce and maintain the training at home. We then have you and your dog come back approximately one week later for a short follow-up lesson to insure proper maintenance.
10 Day Board & Train
This is our most basic program that teaches all our basic commands and includes one follow-up sessions after you take your dog home.
14 Day Board & Train
This program is more advanced. It covers all our basic commands as well as works on behavior problems. It comes with unlimited lifetime support. This package includes other benefits on future boarding stays with us, such as: Discounted Boarding, Free Refresher Training, and Complimentary go home baths when your dog's stay is more than 3 nights.
* We also include your dog's training supplies to take home. Your dog will receive a graduation certificate and a calendar personalized with your dog's picture.
21 Day Board & Train
This program includes everything in the 14 day program with an additional week of training to take your dog further to his/her personal best. We also include an instructional DVD using your dog in demonstration.
Private Lessons
This is a package consisting of five (5), approximately one (1) hour, lessons. They are held at Green Dog Training once a week for five weeks. The trainer works individually with you and your dog on the basic commands. Daily "homework" is assigned after each lesson.

If your dog already knows some commands, we will advance your dog as much as possible.
We have different programs available which address behavior problems that include:
- Jumping
- Chewing
- Play Biting
- Bolting out door/gates
- Digging
- Housebreaking
- Etc.
We provide the obedience training dogs need, for all your requirements. All dogs coming to our Houston dog training company must meet our vaccine requirements prior to check-in. We require proof of the following:
- DHPP
- Rabies
- Bordetella
